With the darkness setting in and the fall season coming to a close Weston Soccer Club looks back on what has been a big season for the club.
With the implementation of the new player development pathway and the introduction of a developmental curriculum and increased on and off field coach development the club has enjoyed a positive fall season off the field.
This has been coupled with some success stories on the field with a number of WSC teams placing high in their respective division in the fall season.
Coach Chris Canzone and his 4th Grade girls won their section with a record of 9 wins and 1 loss.
Coach Linda Hillary and the 5th Grade girls had 7 wins on the way to topping their section.
Coach Alison Vander Vort & Mike Curley led the 6th grade girls to a section title with 8 wins. Both coaches also led the High School boy’s team to a second place finish in the boys 12 3/C section.
There was also success on the boy’s side with Coach Mike Sullivan guiding the 6th Grade boys to a section win with 5 wins through the season.
WSC also had a second place finish with Coach Vallery Keonig's 4th grade boys just missing out on topping the section by a couple of points.
WSC is focused on player and coach development but a product of development is winning so we like to recognize those who had on field success through the clubs development plan.
