Read This Note, Check the Schedule, and Sign Up - See You on Alphabet!!

Six weeks, Weston.  That's all.  Six short weeks from today, on 5 April, it will be soccer season and our new 10-week PreK - 2nd Grade program will kick off.  At long last, it's time to register.

We're grateful to all of you for your patience as we worked to get our plans approved - and we are especially grateful to the Weston Rec Department and to Emergency Management for giving our plans such careful consideration.  Their consent now allow us to eliminate the 20-minute gaps that we had between sessions last year - this step reduces costs, enables us to give 1st and 2nd graders an additional 15 minutes of play in their weekday sessions, and gets everybody home for dinner at a better hour for our youngest players.

We're also thankful to Weston Youth Lacrosse for helping us to schedule Sunday Game Days in a way that eliminates conflicts for girls and minimizes them for boys; now more than ever it's important for our young players to be able to take advantage of every sport, every development opportunity, every chance to play with friends.

Now for the good stuff:  how to register:

  • take a look at the notes below and make sure you're comfortable with the public health measures that we're expecting to follow.
  • click the link below that will take you to the Spring 2021 schedule and make sure that the cost and timing work for you
  • the link at the bottom of the schedule that says "Click Here to Register for Spring 2021 Soccer"
  • that link will take you to the Weston Soccer Club portal for Adminsports, our payment/registration system.  You can log in to your family's account or create one if you don't have one.

Spring 2021 and Public Health

We will keep our website current with Mass Youth Soccer's guidelines for soccer during Covid.  At the moment we should all expect the conditions that pertained in Fall 2020 to continue:

  • players and spectators to wear masks at all times
  • one spectator per player; spectators to remain socially distanced
  • spectators to fill out the online contact tracing form for themselves and their player
  • NEW patterns of arrival and departure from Alphabet (arriving through the main ramp, departing via the bridge - more details to come) to enable us to run sessions safely without leaving 20 minutes between groups.
